To ensure proper dead-blow function, the reciprocating head must maintain approximately 1.6–3.2 mm of free movement from the buffer body. Every buffer is adjusted to this specification, though the clearance can be fine tuned if needed.
The new two piece reciprocating design eliminates the need for expensive tungsten weights, allowing us to offer the same proven H3 performance at a significantly more affordable price.
